Eilidh has always been a better sleeper than her sister and of that im so
grateful, this week though she started waking up a few times at night for a feed and was taking a while to settle. Rebecca on the other hand was sleeping so well and actually slept through the night two nights in a row.
Now last night was a diffrent story.
After the brief problem getting them down (read Interlude in previous post) , Eilidh slept all night wonderfully. Of course Rebecca was up and down, including being up from 1.30 till 4 (or there about , the last time i looked at the clock it was 4 but i feel asleep before her i think – hugging on the couch watching cartoons)
Why do i feel my girls are ganging up on me , maybe having secret talks to drive mummy crazy? DH says i should think myself lucky there not both having bad nights but i would almost prefer it as maybe they would be a chance they would both have a good night at the same time.
Im also in pain right now, leaving to go to my mums today i took a tumble over my ankle. I had Eilidh in my arms at the time but thankfully managed to fall without hurting her, my right knee is cut like crazy and i ripped my faviroute (re only) pair of jeans, my ankle is also killing me. Think im going to take some ibrofin and go to bed early, almost finished Harry Potter and The Half Blood Price so will get stuck into that

So sorry about your fall. A while ago I took a tumble down our stairs while holding Zoe. I managed to keep her from getting hurt in any way… but I ended up with some very very very ugly bruises on my arms, back, and legs, and I twisted my ankle. Really scary. I was just so happy Zoe wasn’t hurt at all.
Sorry the girls are giving you such a hard time with sleeping lately, and sorry about the fall.
( But isn’t it amazing how we moms always manage to shield our children from being hurt, even if doing so hurts us?!
Sounds like a rough day! At least you have Harry Potter to get you through the night. (That sounded a little weird didn’t it?)
