9 Months and a Day

Posted by lauramcintyre

Yesterday Eilidh turned 9 months old, i cannot get over how my baby has went from this

to this

She is such a smart, energetic wonderful child who makes life so intersting.
She is “talking” saying Mummy, Daddy, Be-Ha (Becca), Boo ,Hiya and has said Nana now and then
She has more or less moved to just one morning nap a day and sleeps all night.
She eats 100% table food and drinks loads from a sippy but still loves her milkies.
She is always on the move and is now officially a climber.

Her biggest milestone this week has been walking, that’s right she is just about there. She is taken 5/6 steps on her own and gets herself into the standing position (not pulling up ) all the time, im guessing just a few days till she is really off.
Im terrified but so excited over it. I managed to get a quick video of her doing it, not to great but the best i could manage.

Ohh and her sister is finally tall enough to open our doors, was not looking forward to that.

GO EILIDH GO! I knew it wasnt going to be that long till she was walking. Pretty soon she will be running! Watch out! lol.

  2. Christina Said,

How is it possible she’s already 9 months old?! It has really flown by and she’s growing up so fast. She’s catching up to her big sister!!! Congrats on the walking - super exciting! The video is so cute, I think the camera going all topsy-turvey adds to the sense of excitement. ;o)

  3. Mommee and Her Boys Said,

Wow! That is so awesome!! Look at how much she’s changed in those 9 months- isn’t that just amazing?

Adam walked at 9 months, too. I really thought I had 12 months until he walked, but he surprised me! haha.

Congrats on getting that on film- seems to be the toughest part of all.

  4. Laura, Russ and Phoebe Said,

This is a really sweet post. Phoebe is 7 months and a week and i can’t imagine her talking. She does make lots of noises and i thought she might be an early talker but i still can’t imagine her saying her first word.
I loved reading about Eilidh. Looks like she’s doing really well!

  5. Brooke Said,

    Yay Eilidh!!!
