Synchronization of Us

I admit im stealing this idea from a fellow blogger whose suggestion about playing around with the burst mode on my camera i took (not if anyone knows which blog im talking about please let me know, i don’t have time right now to search through my subscriptions). She took some adorable shots of her kids.

I did have more of an explanation planned but as my previous post said im busy busy right now so will just get on with the shots. I love the blurry box for some reason

What a day and its only 5.30.

To start with last night was a kinda rough night with Eilidh being up quite a few times, i planned to go for a nap at the same time as the girls to catch up. What is it they say about the best laid plans? So naptime roles around and Eilidh goes down fine, Rebecca feeds and refuses to sleep. 30 minutes pass (she is normally out in 5 minutes at the most) and my arms hurting so let daddy take over - as he went to Rebecca Eilidh decided now was the perfect time for her to get up (she normally sleeps for at least 2 hours) . We finally gave in with Rebecca and around 11.30 tried to get both back down with no luck , i gave them lunch and they both finally gave in and went for naps around 12.30 (normal naptime is 9.30/10am) . God knows what was up with Rebecca she seemed to be bouncing off walls this morning , maybe she really did understand about the planned sleepover (more on that in a minute).

Then of course this afternoon i had an appointment as the dentist. I hate the dentist and refused to go for years, tooth pain during my second pregnancy made me go and i needed a couple of treatments. Not fair in my book as i do take good care of them. I was suppose to go for a root treatment in Feb but as the worse tooth was no longer sore i chickend out. A few months back another started hurting and i finally went back to the dentist, the dentist done nothing to help my fear being really mean to me (bitching about missing the appointment and warning me if i ever missed again would be kicked out the practice) and when he was working on my tooth it HURT. At one point him and the dental nurse had to almost hold me down to do the work.
As you can guess i was so not looking forward to this appointment but gosh the dentist i had this time was lovely, he made sure i could feel nothing before he went ahead (giving more jags to help) and i barely felt anything. My mouth is completely numb just now and have to go back in two weeks for the other side but it was nowhere near as bad as i feared.

And now tonight it the exciting part of the day, i promised Courtney months ago that she could come and stay for the night before she started school. Well we decided tonight was the night. Long ago before i was pregnant with Rebecca having Courtey to stay was normal but its been so long not to mention Rebecca has never had anyone over or stayed at anyones house. As a special treat Rebecca is getting to stay up past her normal bedtime and we are all going to watch a movie and stuff ourselves silly on popcorn (It will actually be the first time we have let Rebecca watch a movie) . I imagine it will be a fun but tiring night, Courtney is such a night owl and its normal for her to be up till 11 . She is just going to sleep in my bed with Rebecca and i tonight while DH has the couch, who bets im going to get no room what so ever? . Courtney is also staying with us all day tomorrow - my sister has a college interview. We are all going for lunch and food shopping - it might be easier with Courtney along to keep Rebecca occupied.

Im hoping to find time to do BSM today but it depends if i can get on my computer (on DH picture less laptop just now) , wish me an easy not completely crazy night.

I feel terrible, Rebeccas birthday was close to two months ago but im just now getting around to doing a slideshow. To be honest i forgot all about it till i saw the one Kimberly done of her son Bryce .
Then of course i couldn’t decided on covering one year or two and then the song to choose - i decided to do one covering her whole life for the moment , short sweet and not to boring (i hope). Im going to do another one to add to her first year one soon when i have the time. Song was another hard choice, i had decided on Little Miss Magic when i noticed Amazing in the song list already on One True Media Page - Christina used it for her first year montage or her daughter and i thought it worked perfectly.

Rebecca speech has improved so much lately, while maybe not in clarity the amount of words she is saying has really changed. Here are some of the funny moments from the last week

- While down our local shopping centre i took Rebecca and Courtney into the pet shop and of course both girls loved it. Rebecca loved a snake that was right up the front of its cage and kept waving and saying Hiya. BUT for some reason she got it into her head that the shop needed tidying up, she went around and around the shop picking up anything lying on the floor and throwing into an empty box each time declaring “Messy” . The people who work there were all laughing like crazy.

- Today while i was making dinner she decided to choose her own meal, taken a packet of her Daddies noddles from the cuboured and declaring them “Dinner” (She actually does love these noddles )

- She will go to the fridge and ask for a snack - either a yo-yo (Yogurt) , Yo-Ju (A yogurt drink) , Pole (Ice Pole) or Cream (Milky Ice Pole)

- Last night while at my parents for dinner Courtney hid under the table and Rebecca hit out with “Doe-Doe ” (Her name for Courts) “Hey You” - so cute and clear

- The other morning she was playing with her shapes and kept showing me her fave the “Angle” , but i kept telling her that it was a square but she kept saying “No Angle” - finally she brought it over to me and I WAS WRONG it was a triangle .

- She is always telling her sister no and telling on Eilidh is she does something naughty. Its really cute and she is only trying to help just now .
