And Its Gone

My tooth just fell out, i mean how does a (just turned) 26 year olds tooth just fall out? . Now this tooth has had a problem for a while, it part crumbled when pregnant with EJ . Fillings and root treatment followed but i really thought it would be fine after that.
Now its been hurting lately and i kept meaning to make a dentist appointment but just never got around to it, this morning is decided to split on me. Okay – it was annoying but not so much when half decided to fall out leaving me with a horrible black tooth underneath (well filling rather than tooth). 10 minutes later that decided to fall out to and im now one tooth down, the gum feels so strange but thankfully doest hurt.
Im just grateful that’s its a back molar and not noticeable unless i smile really wide.

Guess its true that “For every pregnancy you lose a tooth” , i never had problems like these pre-preggers

oh no! I am glad it was a back tooth and not a front tooth though. I know how you feel, I have really bad teeth.

  2. Brittany says:

Oh my! Thank goodness it doesn’t hurt!

Did you call the dentist anyway? Might be good to go in and have the others checked. (sorry, being a mom…haha)

Oh, dear! Are you going to the dentist now for sanity’s sake?

  4. Christina says:

wow bizarre! Thankfully I’ve escaped that particular result of pregnancy…so far, knock on wood. At least it’s at the back, and it doesn’t hurt!

Yikes! I have heard that about pregnancy and teeth.

I actually still have 2 baby teeth (I believe the 6th tooth from center on each bottom side) Guess I didn’t have the permanent teeth there to push them out. I keep waiting for the day they just decide they’ve had enough.

    SHIT! That must hurt!

Oh wow, can I understand. Genetics didn’t give me great teeth to begin with. I take great care of them but, they are soft and tend to rot despite my efforts. My husband on the other hand didn’t even own a tooth brush when we got together has never even had a cavity in his 30 yrs. I lost three teeth from my first pregnancy, and 1 this last pregnancy. If I have any more kids I’ll need dentures at the ripe old age of 27.

oh goodness – poor you! Have you called the dentist to get the rest of them checked out?

Ahh! That must’ve been an unwelcome surprise! I’m glad it was a back tooth. I have a tooth like that, it’s a fang tooth, that has had a root canal (my previous dentist did a tooth surgery years ago and cut the root to that tooth, then it died and needed a root canal). I keep worrying it will one day fall out. It’s so frustrating! I really feel for you!! I hope you’ve gotten it all taken care of now.
