Today was a special day for Rebecca as she got to go to her first Pantomime. Pantomimes are such a Christmas tradition in the UK and are just such wonderful ways to pass a couple of hours.
Each year my dads work pays for the workers children to go to one and this year my mum bravely took Rebecca along with Courtney, according to my mum she was a complete angel and had a wonderful time.
Im *so* looking forward to next Christmas when both children will be old enough to go and DH and i can make it into our own tradition.
Eilidh and i got to spend the afternoon together which was lovely , sure we have the time while Rebecca is at playgroup but this was a whole 5 hours of us time.
Do you know what i realized? Having two children is MUCH easier than one.
Im not sure how parents with one child do it, i had to constantly entertain Eilidh, i couldn’t do much of anything as she wanted all my attention. It made me realize just how much Rebecca and Eilidh play together these days (and poor Eilidh did miss her sister, cried for about 20 minutes at one point shouting for her)

Hi Laura,
Thought I’d stop by and see what you were up to. Love the blog, the girls look like they are having some good fun!

PS He’s behind you!
The kids and I had our first Christmas in England two years ago. We loved the pantomime. All of my husband’s relatives (and my husband) raved about them. What a great tradition.
Wow, now that’s a switch - to hear someone say two kids is *easier* than one! i guess I can see that, tho.
Sounds like such a fun time for Becca!
