Why Is It Called Morning Sickness?

I mean really how many people actually just suffer in the morning? . I actually thought today was going to be a good day as i felt fine this morning,  i took a nap with Rebecca and woke up feeling horrible.

Just now Eilidh is napping and i had promised Rebecca and Courtney we could bake cakes but instead i cannot move of the couch while they eat there way through the fruit bowl (not that i would mind if it was’t eating half an apple then starting a new one) and just plain destroying the place with paper. I have no energy to stop them as after all if there busy with that then i can sit and feel sorry for myself.

Can i please ask 2nd trimester to hurry up

oh man, i hear you. i remember feeling just like that a few months back!

now, i’m not sick. i’m just too big and exhausted to move off the couch as bean tears the house apart.

Oh man I feel your pain. When I was pregnant with the twins I was nauseaus constantly. It never let up. I even had a hard time sleeping at night because of it, and being tired on top of it all didn’t help!

That’s a GOOD question – why the heck is it *morning* sickness?! I remember those early days of total exhaustion and aversion to all food…and I didn’t have other kiddos to chase. I hope it passes quickly for you.

With 3 of mine, I was nauseous all day long, for the whole pregnancy. It was starting out the same with the fourth and for some reason, I found out if I ate a piece of fruit in the morning (apple, grapes), it would go away. After 15 minutes or so, I could eat pretty much anything and I had so much energy the whole time.

I just wanted to let you know in case that works for you. I also tried not to eat carbs much in the morning (crackers made it worse). I had so much energy, I did a bunch of renovating and I couldn’t sit still much. It has carried over for the last 10 years when I eat the right things and avoid certain things. Experiment.
