Since my son was born i have became the number one fan of baby wearing. He is worn every time we leave the house - we don't even own a single pram for him. Those first few months he was even worn alot inside both to get to sleep and feed . I have no idea how i got to my third child before realising just how wonderful it was. I love how it leaves me hands free to deal with my other children. I know no matter how fussy or tired he i always have a solution. Plus having my wonderful son snuggled up so close to me is an amazing feeling.
As im such an addict now im definitely on the lookout for new baby slings . I currently use a Wrap but also have a ring sling . How much do i crave a moby wrap . This hand painted sling is to die for.
Im also desperately wanting a Mei Tai and this will be my next purchase.
If done right and with the right carrier (for you) baby wearing is a wonderful thing. Its both convenient and good for the baby. I look forward to my continued journey with baby wearing
- #Ok lately Rebecca has been learning how to work the remote control for the TV, the breakfast episode of In The Night Garden finished and somehow in trying to put it back on she put on an episode of Family Guy. She is staring at the TV in complete fascination.
I know its not suitable but am i bad letting her watch for a few minutes to keep her still? Hope she doesn’t take any lessons from Stewie

Mackenzie runs around with the remotes and has managed to figure out how to turn the volume up and down. Fortunately, she hasn’t stumbled upon Family Guy.

LOL…Nadia LOVES Family Guy. She calls it and the Simpsons “The daddy show.” I’m really not cool with that, but Daddy encourages it.

Lore has learned how to work the remote controll for the tv months ago lol… but if I need Lore to stay in the living room while I getting something out of the oven etc… I will use the tv… But then again, Lore watches Stargate etc with me lol…

I think sometimes it’s perfectly okay to let them watch that for a few minutes to finish what you are doing! I’d do the same thing. Sometimes you just need a few more minutes…
Mine just plays with the remote, no idea what she is doing…yet!

I am sure it won’t scar her for life. I think it would be worse if she were 8 and could understand more of it in a real context, and reason more, but then she won’t be watching it. I meant to say how I like their jammies in that previous post, and they are adorable, your bias aside.

Kenzie has watched things that some would not find acceptable for a child. I say if it keeps them occupied and you don’t make a big deal of the bad behavior (or whatever they are doing wrong) A few minutes won’t hurt!
