Update On All
Think its been ages since i just wrote an update post so hear it goes
Rebecca - Its now been over 2 weeks since she last took a breastfeed so i guess i can delcare her weaned . Im still amazed at how easy it all was and it just goes to show that toddlers never do what they think your going to do. Our next challenge is moving her to her own bed, as much as i love co-sleeping with her the new baby is going to need somewhere to sleep and while that may not be in our bed (depends on her/him) im not keep on putting her in with Eilidh. She still loves “school” and im sure would go everyday if we let her, her talking improves everyday but is still behind where it should be . Her next hospital appointment is scheduled for March 31st where she will hopefully talk for the surgeon. She is still my big snuggle bug which i hope never changes , she is constantly trying to kiss and cuddle Eilidh which annoys her sister to no end . She loves to kiss the “baby” to which is sweet, she really is a great big sister.
Eilidh - What am i going to do with this girl? She is an amazingly sweet and bright child but is driving me crazy at the moment, she has no patience for anything and a horrible temper . She destroys and climbs everything is sight and is constantly making those around her turn prematurely Grey. On the other hand though she is a wonderful little girl who loves life to the fullest and can turn everything into a game, she loves to be chased and has developed a love of books the last few days. She can build towers and play with shape sorters although she struggled with the heart so much that a specular tantrum followed. She has the cutest squeaky voice and her fave words just now included “Eilidh, Apple (still) , Dance, Ju-Ju (Juice) and Bath” I think at the moment she is frustrated alot of the time at the stuff she cannot do , she cannot understand why Rebecca can do something she can’t . Ohh her sleeping has finally got better again thanfully although she is now 100% down to one nap a day (which is easier for us all)
Me - Almost 12 weeks now (i think) there was a screw up with appointments that mean i have not gotten a scan or anything yet but should hopefully get one in the next few weeks . Some days im feeling fine and other just rotten, around this time a day (its 10.34am) i always feel sick with hunger but nothing sounds good. Im pure exchasted the last few days and have been in bed before 9 the last few nights - last night slept from 8.30 to 4.40 then from 5 to 7 , and could still nap today. Hopefully the good days will start getting better and the not so good ones will disappear.
DH - Did i mention he passed his January exams with flying colors? I have never met anyone so smart that has so much self doubt. He is just a few months away from his final exams (in May, 5 of them OUCH) and graduation is in July. I will then be married to a full qualified Physicist. He is wanting to get into medical physics so hopefully will get one of the training programs he has applied for, although its another 4 years of “education” its basically a full time job with a decent wage. Im so proud of him

What a nice update! Sounds like everyone is doing well, minus you and feeling yucky! That will pass, don’t worry!
Take care!

aww glad you’re all doing well. Congrats on your DH passing his exams! ((hugs)) for the “morning” sickness.
I’m having a bit of a time of it with Zack at the moment - I think he’s reached the jealousy stage with Max now - that makes for fun times… not!

It’s good to get an update. It sounds like the girls are doing well and hopefully you’ll be past that early “Ick” stage of pregnancy soon.

Wow so many changes all at once. Congrats on the pregnancy by the way! That’s great news! Sounds like the girls are doing great. Have you thought about getting a Pack N’ Play? A lot of them these days come with a bassinet. The one I got as a gift for Cameron did and we used it for ages.

Sounds like everything is going well - minus the sickies, but that is all for a good cause. :o) I’m so glad weaning has gone well for Becca, and hopefully the transstion to her own bed will follow that pattern. You know I can relate the the frustration and elation of a exuberant child like Eilidh! Congrats on hubby passing the exams!

Being pregnant and having one child at home is tough, I cant imagine two! I hope that there is some amount of small time for you to rest here and there! I guess the girls have each other to entertain themselves at least so you can lie around if you need to!

I’m so glad the weaning went well! That’s great. I think it’s funny how siblings can be so different. I’m sure you can’t wait to meet the next little baby and find out what his/her personality will be. Congrats for the hubby, and I hope you feel better soon.
