  • Since my son was born i have became the number one fan of baby wearing. He is worn every time we leave the house - we don't even own a single pram for him. Those first few months he was even worn alot inside both to get to sleep and feed . I have no idea how i got to my third child before realising just how wonderful it was. I love how it leaves me hands free to deal with my other children. I know no matter how fussy or tired he i always have a solution. Plus having my wonderful son snuggled up so close to me is an amazing feeling.

As im such an addict now im definitely on the lookout for new baby slings . I currently use a Wrap but also have a ring sling . How much do i crave a moby wrap . This hand painted sling is to die for.
Im also desperately wanting a Mei Tai and this will be my next purchase.

If done right and with the right carrier (for you) baby wearing is a wonderful thing. Its both convenient and good for the baby. I look forward to my continued journey with baby wearing

Im (so far) enjoying this blogging each day thing , i imagine just like in November come the last week or so i will be blogged out but for the moment im loving it. The theme makes it so easier and i have thousand of different list ideas . Today various countries i have visited.

1 - Duh !!! Scotland and England - although i don’t exactly “visit” Scotland. I have been to Wales according to my parents but was to young to remember

2 - Denmark (Twice) - My dads brother and his family live there , went once when 4 for a wedding and again when 14.

3 - Canada - My mums sister lives there ,now she has 3 children and two of them have three children (remember Cousin Sarah from a few months back? ) so there is a good extended family over there. Visited for the first time when i was 9 , then again when 15 , 19 and 20 /21 .

4 - Spain - Been to a few different areas , Salou with my parents when 14 then Ibiza with a friend at 19, Tenerife with Cousin Sarah at 20 and last time was with DH (pre kids) to Costa somewhere - do remember it was near Barcelona

5 - Germany - I was 11 when we went on a school trip there , a wonderful and crazy fun filled 5 days

6 - France - I have never actually stayed there but on multiples occasions (such as Salou and Germany) have driven through and eaten there (The Calais - Dover ferry is the quickest way to get from UK to mainland Europe, or was i guess pre Train)

7 - Holland - My parents took me there as an amazing 18th Birthday present , i will never forget sailing down the canal with the unlimited wine and cheese and my embarrassing parents getting everyone to sing happy birthday. And going to the red light district with my parents? Strange to say the least

8 - Africa - A family holiday when i was 16 (i think) to Tunisia (where the Star Wars moves were filmed) , definetly a different place and would love to go back

9 - America - Crossed the border i think every time we visited Canada over to New York State (Buffalo) , also went to Florida when we were 13 - lovely place that i cannot wait to visit again (as i will not be “to cool” and will love it)

I think thats it, honestly there are still millions of places i want to visit . Its part of what i love about having my family young , by the time there grown DH and i will still be young enough to travel the world and see all those places we dream of

**Edited to add i completly forgot Greece - went when i was 17 on my first parent free girly holiday :) **

You are certainly well-traveled! I absolutely love visiting other countries, and although I haven’t visited as many as you have, I too look forward to doing more traveling when my daughter is older. And Buffalo, NY is only about an hour from where I live. :)

  • Kathryn:

Wow. You have been all over. That is impressive. I’ve been to Wales too. It was beautiful.

  • Chas:

I guess that’s what’s neat about living where you live…lots of countries closeby to visit.

Of those, I’ve only been to America…which is where I live, lol. I’ve been to Florida more times than I can count, and I always love it.

I’m so jealous. I have never left the US. Not even to Canada. Well, no, that’s not true. I have been to Tijuana, Mexico. But since I was young, in the Navy, and most likely drunk when I walked back across the border, it doesn’t really count. LOL I did see the Canadian side of Niagara Falls (from the NY side), but that’s as close as I’ve gotten. I have visited several different states in the US, but it would be so cool to visit other countries.

  • Joy T.:

Sounds like your parents did a lot of travelling when you were younger. I am really looking forward to start travelling with my husband in the next few years.

  • Kimberly:

Wow! I had no idea you were so well traveled. I’ve never even left the East Coast, much less the U.S. in general. :)

  • Toni:

You are extremely well traveled. I am envious!

  • Christina:

My GOSH you have been a lot of places! Very well traveled indeed. I have never bee more than a few miles over the border into Canada.

  • Kim:

Wow - you have been to a lot of countries. My list would include S. America and the Philippines. End list. HA! I’d be better off listing the states I’ve visited.
