La La La

You have no idea how happy i am to be writing this post, i feel like i can breath again.

You see im wanting to try and install the sideblog plugin to use for the paid posts BUT that does not seem to be working. Maybe updating wordpress will help (still way behind im scared to do it, im a wimp with this stuff) .

I delete a couple of unused themes when i notice them.

Then i try to access my cPanel, so whats my password /username again?

So i try and try and then everything stops working, no accessing the cPanel (which i now know the user name and password as i remember slightly to late that i had them written down) – no accessing the dashboard of wordpress – no even accessing the website.

Stupidly i panic, what if i had done something that caused me to lose everything? I was so sure i had done something irreversible.

I went to the hosts website and contacted customer support, and now i feel stupid. My repeated attempts to access my cPanel had got my ip address banned (a precaution against hackers) , nothing serious and its now been fixed.

I do want to give a quick thumbs up to Swank Web Hosting , i have been nothing but happy with the service they offer and if anyone is looking to go self hosted check them out. There customer service department is EXCELLENT . I raised a “ticket” and 15 minutes later had a reply for them working with me solving the problem – how wonderful is that?

Now that half my evening is wasted im going to go back to trying to sort out this plugin thing

(While getting kicked like crazy, bubs down a complete turn around yesterday which in itself was very strange but movement has went from occasionally to non stop)
