Looking Good

Author: Everything is looking good for Rebecca coming home this week, she is in for a check up tomorrow (in the theater under anesthetic) . If that looks good they would be happy for her to come home.
She will get her last bit of morphine tonight , tomorrow they will start weaning her off another drug (cannot remember what its called just now) .This should take two days but they will want her to be in hospital while this is done as it has been associated with fits and blood pressure problems. Craig thinks they may let her come home Wednesday evening but im thinking Thursday - either way its only a few days away.
She has been walking great the last few days, she is not off and running yet but is taken some steps alone and walking along while holding on to walls/objects - much like a toddler just starting to walk.
Its all about building her muscle strength back up.
Will hopefully get Craig to do an update tomorrow and let you all know how it went.

I’m glad she is up and moving around. The more she does it the quicker she will be back to herself and running around. I really hoep everything goes smoothly and she does get to come this week. I bet she can’t wait to be home with her sister and vice versa. Hang in there, it’s almost over

I’m so happy to hear your baby is doing so much better and you get to bring her home. Happy Day. Can’t wait to hear about your first few days at home with her. I bet she will be soooo glad to be home too.
