Its official, as of today Rebecca is now at nursery - or pre-school as my overseas readers would proberly know it as.
From Monday to Friday from 1 - 3.30pm she will be there. I just cannot believe she is old enough for it, i remember clearly when Courtney started and now she is in her 2nd year of primary school .
It was a much easier start that i was expecting, we went in and as i was filling in paperwork she made her way over to the other children. She played happily with them at the sand table and when i went to leave she kissed me and said goodbye.
Could it really be this easy? This is from the child who has not let either Dh or myself out her sight since she got home from the hospital. I know how wonderful nursery is for them and for a child like Rebecca how many benefits it has , part of me still wishes i could keep her home. Spent to long without her lately
.
She only stays for an hour today so its time to go and get her already, will hopefully get around to posting some pictures later if i get the time .

How exciting for Rebecca! I am so happy she is doing so well.
Oh lucky Rebecca! We had a place sorted for Zack, but a woman along the road has been causing some trouble for us, and as her little one was already there, we figured best to just enroll him somewhere else. I just hope he gets a place soon, he’s really ready for it!
I hope Rebecca enjoys nursery!
Oh I am so glad it went easy when it was time for you to go, I sure hope it goes well with Saige in two weeks when she starts pre-K. I completely understand about wanting to keep her home, but she will have a wonderful time and it makes the time we do have with them, that more special.
That’s great! Such a brave girl! I have an award for you over at my blog!
And just like that…they are off! Great for her, and great for you, too!
Yay Becca - you must be so proud of her for doing so well on her first day! I hope N does as well next week.
I’m so glad she was so comfortable at school. It helps to set our mind at ease, doesn’t it?
It’s been so long since I’ve checked in here, I didn’t realize you were getting so close to your due date. So many exciting things happening and a boy to add to the family. You must be thrilled. (personally, after having a girl, I was sure I wanted another one and wasn’t sure what to do when we had Will, but I’m so glad. It’s great to have the experience of a boy)
Back to reading….. I’ll have to be sure to check in more often so I don’t miss anything.
Lucas starts preschool on September 9th! I can’t believe it … going to take lots of pictures that day, for sure.
He’s so excited, and so am I. I hope that the first day will go OK. I’m looking forward to having time with Meri by myself and also having some time to get things done!
Hope Rebecca has a wonderful year at preschool. My daughter starts her second year in a couple weeks. And then next year, she’s off to kindergarten! Geez… I am not ready for that!
Seems like a smooth transition for you both today! She’s a tough one! Takes after her mama?!
Hi Laura, I have not commented in awhile but I have still been keeping up with your blog. Not too much longer until the little man comes! How exciting! I’m glad to hear things are going much better now for you all. You had my prayers… hope all is well! ~Steph
