Hair

Rebecca has always had alot of hair, and i have always adored it. For the last year or so she had needed a hair cut but i have not been able to bring myself to get it done. I hated the thought of just loosing any of it . I finally gave in and she got her first ever hair cut (well she gets her fringe done every few weeks but this was the first time the rest of it had been touched. ) .
A friend came to the house to do it and im happy to say Rebecca was wonderful . As for her hair - well honestly apart from looking so much healthier you would not know it had been touched, still nice and long and just adorable - why was i so fussed about it?

And look how long someone else’s hair is getting .

We are growing out her fringe and its normally pulled back but she is just up from her nap in the picture (hence the reason her hair is so messy )

Aww it’s so hard to get their hair cut properly for the first time isn’t it? I think Zack’s would have been around the same length as Rebecca’s by now if it hadn’t been cut! :)

    Hope you’re well xx

  • Brooke:

I haven’t heard it called “fringe” before, we call them “bangs”. I don’t know why, fringe make a lot more sense!! I’m trying to grow Leah’s bangs out as well (my first baby to actually have hair!!), and they are constantly in her eyes… and she won’t leave a clip in her hair.

It just dawned on to me that I haven’t visited your blog for quite a time (we were on holidays for a month) and the baby must have arrived.Huge congratulations! He’s such a cute baby! Hope all is well.

  • Kat:

There is just something about cutting little ones’ hair that makes you feel like they are growing up. :(

  • Christina:

WOW! I knew her hair is long, but never realized just HOW long it is!! I waited a long time to cut N’s, too, and once I finally did it I wondered why I kept putting it off - it looked better!

  • Anglophile Football Fanatic:

Wow. You really haven’t cut it? Amazing.

  • carrie:

wow - they must be drinking lots of good milk - their hair is getting really, really long!!

  • Sugar & Ice:

Sorry if you get one half finished comment from me…it kind of ate my first comment. Anyway, I had to really think about what “fringe” might be, as we do not use that term here, lol. I had LG’s hair cute for the first time a couple of months ago, and I thought it’d be really hard on me, but it really wasn’t.

oh the first hair cut. i remember i cried when we cut Phabian’s for the first time. MJ didn thave much so it wasnt as tear filled. It is another memory to add to the books.
