Lazy Day

Sometimes everyone needs a lazy day. So many of our days are filled with activites and we very rarely stop and just do nothing. I love it that way but now and then a non day is good to.

Morning started rather stressfully, the girls both seemed to get up from the wrong side of the bed and were fighting from the get go . Constant screaming, hitting and a bad biting session (Rebecca has two marks on her arm one brusing this evening and Eilidh one on her hand). Bad Becca, Bad Eilidh - this was all i heard for the first few hours.

Things improved when DH finally rolled out of bed (how come he gets to sleep in constanlty?) , the girls stuck to there daddy like glue and we decided to take the girls out for lunch. For the first time that day things seemed to go our way and the girls were angels . We ate, we chatted and Ru just slept soundly .

We got home in time for Eilidhs nap (not that she actually slept but thats not the point), i took Ru and we curled up in the bed together and also took a nap. That was the first one in weeks and was just lovely, it was not tiredness that drove me to it but if i had not went for a nap dh would have spent the afternoon playing the computer and me with the girls.

After the naps finally got around to doing a little housework , dinner was made (quick frozen meal , lazy days don’t mix with cooking) . Kids were all bathed and bed-ed by 6pm.

The evening was just as relaxed , a long hot bath then an episode of Lost with hubby. Now 3 kids are sleeping and im waiting for hubby to get out his bath before going to sleep (Rebecca can be a bit unsettled sometimes and don’t want to sleep then have to wake up and deal with her).

And yes if you are wondering there is no point to this post other than passing a little time. If i ever remember yes i will write about what my not so little Ru (11 weeks today!!!) is up to .
