Stolen from Lisanne , hope she does not mind
Here’s something fun for today. Look back at all of your blog entries throughout 2008 and post the first sentence of your first entry for each month. (Am I explaining that clearly? I hope so!) Here are mine …
January - “Hello, its lovely to see you found your way here.” This was the first post on wordpress with my own domain. Had been using blogger before that .
February - ” I’m either very late of early with this but as explained in my previous post i have had some other stuff on my mind” I was late posting some weekly stories of the girls, was only a few weeks pregnant and dealing with morning sickness.
March -“I have been feeling so uninspired with the blog lately so have decided to join up for the March NaBloPoMo” The theme was lists and i only made it a few days , but it was fun.
April - ” I think i have been rather negative on this blog lately , you know this morning i lay on my couch with my two girls .” I had just had one of those mornings that reminded me how wonderful my girls were.
May - “Today i woke for the first time in weeks feeling positive, for the longest time i have been letting worries get on top of me and its been effecting every aspect of my life” Things were a little scary at the beginning of the year between the baby and having no idea what DH was going to do once he graduated. He had been offered a PhD and i was getting very excited about bump
June - “Its a BOY” Pretty self explanatory , we found out the we were expecting our first son.
July - “Im definetly avoiding blogging this week, i have been in a prissy mood and honestly am trying not to wine to much on here” It was a sucky month, weather was horrible and we were all bored and frutrated with nothing to do .
August - “ Posting on the go, its non stop and when i do i can face nothing. Im really feeling like a heavily pregnant women today and the lack of sleep at night is leaving me shattered .” Rebecca was still in hospital and just received her blood transufion, things were starting to look up for us.
September - “No baby yet, just been battling a stomach bug and general end of pregnancy feeling like crap. Will more than likely be missing in action for a while as just sitting at the computer bugs me.” Still pregnant, still huge , still misrable (and yes i slightly miss it now )
October - ” Its been almost a week since my last post but i do have a good excuse :)” I was to busy enjoying my new family of 5 to do silly things like blog .
November - ” I have been thinking about this for weeks now - do i want to take part or do i not? Honestly YES i want to do it, i had a ball last year and have been looking forward to it since.” I tried, i failed . Hoping to better next year. (NaBloPoMo that is)
December - “ Just wanted to share as im not finding time to write a real post, its silly and not the best camera work.” Shared a video of the kids i found cute .
Out With The Old
Happy New Year everyone
Gosh i cannot believe its 2009 now, what a year 2008 was. From Craig graduating to Rebecca’s problems to Ru’s birth . Its been non stop and in the end im sad to say bye to the year.
I was grateful to ring in the bells with my husband by my side, my three wonderful children were sound asleep - all healthy, happy and well. We have a roof over our head and plenty of food on the table , we have a decent ,stable income coming in . My extended family are all well and making the most of life.
What more could i ask for? I know how lucky our family is.
I look forward to seeing our children grow and change in the coming year, i think how far both girls have came since last year and it makes me smile. Ru was just a tiny embryo last new years eve and now he is a big boy rolling over (every time i place him down on his back now) and constantly telling stories.
I hope 2009 makes everyone’s dreams come true
