Songs Of The Moment

Do other peoples kids have songs that they just love – im not talking a kiddie song but some random musical choice that captivates them. My girls seem to have songs of the moments and music choices range from Paul Mcartney to Aqua

At the moment there both obsessed over a song they call “Daddies Blue Car” but is actually called “Chasing the light by Amy Studt” . Check it out and imagine to little girls dancing and singing along (nothing better than watching try to get there hair to fly about like hers , not to keen on them singing die, die, die though)

And then there is Ru , 8 months is not to young to have a favourite song . His song is “Weird Al” Yankovic – White & Nerdy , i must ask why? Why out of all the songs does this one keep him amused, he stops and just listens/watches it now and then giving a little dance but is truely captivated by the song . He is a bizarre little boy . Watch it HERE

I have a lovely memory of my youngest daughter being 3 and singing along loudly “Stick em up punk, we’re the fun loving criminals” which made us howl with laughter seing as how her dad was an Edinburgh bank manager and I at the time was a District Nurse !!!

Hi there, thanks for the lovely comment you left for me. I’ve enjoyed reading back through your blog.
Hmm, music. Mine (21 months and 9 months) haven’t particularly responded to anything other than CBeebies theme tunes and nursery rhymes. Perhaps it’s time to start their musical education. Spotify here we come :-)
