Synchronization of Us

Once upon as time this was known as party night , i would drink and dance the night away. Now it is still my favourite night of the week but for different reasons.

Saturday night is officially date night in the McIntyre household and it rocks. For a start Craig normally cooks and while i hate the clean up after it , i love the night off. Homemade Steak pie and roast potatoes ,lovely carrots lathered in real butter and toffee cheesecake for dessert. After dinner Craig will bath the kids and get the girls down while i clean and feed the boy.

Then we have the evening ahead of us , we may watch a movie or catch up on some tv shows. Hereos is on the menu tonight and possibly some Family Guy or The Simpsons . Food is an important part of our Saturday nights , packs of biscuits and a party pack sized of pretzels tonight. If we really feel like it we may crack open a bottle of champagne (which has been sitting there since my birthday 6 weeks ago. We don’t drink much lol).

It may only be one night a week but it is our night , we are both so busy all the time and it is easy to let our time fall to the wayside. It is nice and feels special to have one night a week just to snuggle and catch up .
