A Good Day

Today was a good day .

It was simple day , full of laughter and joy . The type of day that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and completly loved up .

What happened that was so wonderful?

It was nothing really , the moring started at 8.30 (2 hours later than normal) . The girls went to dance class while i went Christmas shopping with Ru . He slept most of the time and i found some great bargins.
I got home just before the girls who after dancing went to a Puppet show with my parents , they both behaved and had a lovely time.

Ru was refreshed from his nice long nap and the girls excited after there busy morning .The afternoon was spent putting up the Christmas tree. Craig was in his element with the kids , they all helped and had a ball . Even Ru was being funny and sweet .

After tree it was dinner and bath , Craig and the kids ran around playing while getting ready for bed and the giggles of all four filled the house.
There was no fighting today, everyone of us seemed happy and content to be in each other’s company.

You can see what i mean, nothing big happened to make it a good day . At the same time all of it is a big deal , this is my family and my children’s lives . We are buidling happy memories , getting them ready for what is to come.

Now i have tonight and snuggles from my faviroute big guy , we have Dexter to watch and plenty of food to eat.

What more could i ever want?

It is so lovely to have days like that, sometimes you need the memory of them to help you through the days that aren’t quite as lovely. x
