The Zoo Trip That Wasn’t

For months now we have been planning Rebecca’s birthday. She was given a choice of (big) party or family zoo trip and she choose a trip to the zoo . The weather has been decent lately so we were optimistic that her birthday would be ok.

Of course the best laid plans and all that because the weather was horrible, windy and cold and very wet . The zoo trip was off, there was no way any of us wanted to spend a day like yesterday outside. This weekend is predicted to be lovely though so its rescheduled for Sunday.

So what could we do ? We decided to take the kids to Sea Life in Loch Lomand . It was inside and not to expensive (booking online saved us £5 per person so a massive £20 overall) .

We had been to a deep sea world before so we knew what to expect and that it would not be the type of place we would spend all day.

We all had a blast though, the kids loved the fish and other animals and i think Craig and i had a pretty good time to . We eat lunch in the car and at request of Rebecca decided to head to a soft play closer to home . The kids all played happily there the rest of the day , all making friends (even Ru with a little girl his age. IT WAS SO STINKING CUTE) .

I have not many pictures to share, chasing after a 1 year old does not leave much time for it but wanted to share a few i did take.
