Days 3 - 6

Maybe the summer holidays will not be so bad. So far the first week has passed with little drama and lots of fun.

Wednesday - My lovely mother in law took us to M and D’s for the day . Silly me forgot to bring the pram which meant Ru was walking the whole time (during nap time to eek) but he was actually really good. It was a long , hot but fun afternoon and i think everyone had a blast . We got home just in time to pack the kids bags for a sleep over at my sisters house. Stephanie was having a belated birthday sleep over for Rebecca and we all went down for playing and party food. Ru and i left about 7 , and the kids continued playing and having fun.

Thursday - Less eventful , my sister watched the kids while i went out and sent away passport applications for the children . We have decided rather than France which is very expensive we are going to book a week all inclusive in Spain for August which would be so much more fun for everyone . Not booked anything yet though as waiting for passports to come though just in case. In the afternoon a friend and her 2 year old came over for a few hours, the parents chatted while the kids all played . Great fun

Friday - Lazy morning , i have taken to curling up with my book in the living room and the kids love it. They jump all over me and we have such fun , its a win win for all of us. Ru napped and i played Mario on the wii another win win as the girls like to watch and pretend to join in (although not allowed to play scary levels as Eils gets scared he he) and when he got up we went to my mums. Heavy rain was forecast but it stayed dry and warm enough all afternoon . I ended up sitting inside with a book as the kids played for hours in the garden . Kids baked muffins and mum made dinner and they played some more outside. All four were playing together so well and i did not want to leave, need to get the cute video from my mums camera to share . Finally Ru and i left around 7.30 to go home and as usual the girls stayed and were out to 9 o’clock playing .

Saturday - LAZY DAY again , im in a bit of a lazy mood just now and should be doing stuff around the house but instead want to read read and read (reading Harry Potter again , almost done book 6 now) . Ru and i spent the morning playing/reading/laughing/him turning me into a human slide and jungle gym. Now the girls are still at my mums and Ru napping and im having an hour to myself .

Im feeling all warm and fuzzy to my kids just now, actually enjoying spending all this lovely time with them . Who could of guessed it :)
