Sunday Snippets #4

Long time no blog , things are pretty crappy around here just now. Weather is awful which means we are stuck in the house day in and day out which means kids and mummy are very unhappy. Please send some sunshine this way.

Marylin over at Soft Thistle (a totally awesome Scottish blogger everyone should be reading , this woman is a inspiration to everyone) has started Sunday snippets and she asks ” write down and/or photograph something cute or funny that happens as it happens throughout the week, and every Sunday make it into a post ” . Thought i would give it a shot (now some of these are a few weeks old but still… )

1 – Have i mentioned that Dora is not the only thing that likes to pee in the kitty litter ? The other week while waiting for his bath Ru just turned around and aimed it in , then a few days later Rebecca woke up at night and went to the toilet and sat down it in a peed (i think she thought it was a potty that use to be kept there ) .

2 – Ru has started saying “love you” and its so cute , you just tell him you love him and he says it back . He even said it unpromted to the kitty , he gave her a big kiss and said “love you” so i think he knows what it means.

3 – Kids were in trouble tonight , i was making dinner and could hear them laughing . I heard Eilidh say “mummy is going to be sooooo annoyed at us” , i could hear banging and thought they were making a mess but could not leave dinner . When i went through they were throwing a whole bunch of toys out the living window in the hopes of being allowed out to pick it up .

4 – The other night Rebecca was not going to sleep and instead was singing a nursery song called ” we are going to school in August” , when i said she was to go to sleep in the sweetest voice she whispered ” i can’t sleep im to excited about going to big school”

So that is it , my big effort . Its been a long day and im heading for a bath and some me time , hope tomorrow will be a better day
