I think i have never shared anything that makes me so proud of my baby girl . She has been at school just over 3 weeks and not even in full days yet and she has came so far .
We go through her word box’s and she knows most of them , her individual letters are coming along great and she is slowly getting the hang of putting words together . She is in the very early stages of reading ..at this rate i think she will be able to read beginner books by Christmas .
My child…reading (side note – this child is meant to be going to sleep but just tried to sneak out the room not looking at me . I thought school would make her more tired at night not less)
I had to share a video of her taken today , for the first time my child reads a story to me word perfectly . The video is not the best and its hard to make out what she is saying but trust me in that fact. SHE IS READING TO ME
(And yes its a little cheat , the book is partly memorised and the story helped along with pictures but she does look at the words and use them as a guide …what does it matter )
To think 2 years ago she was this tiny thing not long out of hospital and just starting nursery .
