Graduation
After 5 long years DH finally got to Graduate yesterday . Seeing him walk across that stage and receive his certificate was definetly a moment we will never forget. After working so hard and for so long he deserved to have that moment of recognition .
It really was a great day, the kids got to join us for a celebration meal in the evening and we all fell into bed exchasted by the evenings end.

Slight change of subject but expect lots of posts from me this week, i have finally got around to organizing my pictures (going back to May, how bad) and have found about a thousand imagines and posts from those . Going to keep it to once a day to not overwhelm but feel free to skip them, they will be labeled “Catch Up” .
Say Goodbye To My Summer
Im so excited , Big Brother starts in just over 2 and a half hours . I just love this show, i have
watched it since a couple of episodes into the first season and got more
addicted each year. Its a big thing here in the UK and the housemates will be front page news for the next few months. My sister and i are both going to be watching the opening night and sending mean texts back and forth, its fun to make guesses what the people will be like.
Its on for a record 13 weeks and 2 days this time around , I’m going to have to time for any other TV shows
I do think the excitement has gotten to me a little though as tonight i gave Rebecca her bath after dinner (normally DHs job but he has his last exam tomorrow) , can anyone tell me whats wrong with the picture?
I’m a silly mummy aren’t i ?
In other news we have had two little milestones from Eilidh this week, she pulled herself up for the first time the other day. She has been trying constantly again since, she can do it fine on a person but really needs something to grab hold of still . Today i also saw her for the first time get herself from a crawling position to a sitting position, I’m sure she has done it before but its the first time i watched her do it. She is just such a big girl .

Ups And Down
Well its sure been a crazy week.
It started of terribly , both girls were driving me insane. I’m pretty sure Eilidh is teething as
she has everyone of the symptoms and Rebecca was getting her bottom eye tooth through so of course they were both moany and not sleeping great. Last Monday was probably the hardest day emotionally i have had since Eilidh was born , everything was getting on top of me and i was just so tired.
It did get much better though as the week went on , Tuesday night was Eilidhs last night in her moses basket as i could no longer get her settled in it (she would fuss and have to be rocked for ages then wake up constantly ) , if i let her sleep with me she would wake up around every 15-30 minutes crying so we made the very hard decision to move her into her cot full time . This
is very upsetting for me as i really believe she should be in my room for at least the first 6 months but as we cannot fit a cot in here i had no choice.
Wednesday night i had my first night off since Eilidh was born, my sister and i went to the pub for a few drinks (only a couple of course because of breastfeeding) and then to the movies to see “The Number 23″ , we were only gone a few hours and DH was home alone with the kids thankfully Eilidh never woke once as although there is milk there she has never taken a bottle before. It was great to get a couple hours off to just be me and not “mum” .
That was also the start of the good sleeping nights, Rebeccas tooth broke though and she was back to normal and Eilidh only woke up twice during the night.
Things just got better, Thursday night she only woke one at 5.30 and last night never woke at all - she slept for a whole 12 hours it was amazing, Rebecca slept in the living room with DH and i had the bed all to myself . I feel like a diffrent person at the moment.
And today we went to a cousins birthday party (well my cousins daughter), it was at “Buckaroo Jaxx” one of these kiddy play areas and Rebecca had a ball running around and climbing on everything , she was so well behaved and it was wonderful to show her and Eilidh off . My 14 year old cousin Jack was there and we is just this wonderful kid who is so helpful and ran after Rebecca most of the time.
All in all its been busy, both girls are sleeping now and I’m hoping will be for a while. Its a busy
week next week to Eilidhs gets more jags on Monday and Rebecca is at the hospital on Friday.

Rain, Rain
Its such a wet horrible day today and silly me went out in it. DH has taken Rebecca swimming and Eilidh and i went to our weekly breastfeeding support group. The weather was ok on the way there but we got caught in a down pore on the way home - complete with hailstones.
Thankfully Eilidh was wrapped up fine and just went to sleep, but I’m soaked. Thankfully its only a 15 minute walk, but i couldn’t find my purse before leaving the house so had no money for a taxi home.
The group was such fun and Eilidh was being a complete show off, i have been a regular at the group since Rebecca was born and it goes through phases of busy/slow/ babies/older tots…
Just now there is a few babies all about the same age as Eilidh . Eilidh seemed so active compared to the others , she was on a play mat but kept moving around ending up doing a 180 and being at the other side of the mat. The best bit was she rolled over from back to stomach on purpose , she took a minute to get her hand out the flashed the room the biggest smile. She even stayed on her belly and squealed and babbled for around 10 minutes.
When on her back she was so fascinated by this mirror teddy hanging above her and kept grabbing it and squealing so loud it was almost embarrassing. Her personality had completely changed this week and she is just so dam happy , i really think putting her down in her cot during the day for naps is whats doing it. She has went from maybe napping for around 1 hour some days to around 5 hours - big difference.
The house seems to silent just now with Rebecca not hear and Eilidh asleep. I have to big bags
full of things to sell on eBay i think I’m going to pull out “maybe”

Busy Week
Long time no post, i swore when i started this blog that i was either going to write regularly
or not write at all. Its just been a busy week with little computer time - plus i just got my hands on Diner Dash 3 - Flo On The Go (Play trial at - http://tinyurl.com/37prmk) and have to play these till there completed.
Its been the usual fun in the McIntyre home, Rebecca is getting better and better at the walking everyday . Today she barely crawled at all and was even trying to dance, she also got a new word “Back Pack” as in Dora’s - Thanks Mum. Eilidh is really getting good at babbling and is
desperately trying to roll over but the dam arm keeps getting in the way.
We had a weigh in the other day and Becca is finally above the 20lbs mark at 20.5 and 81cm long (up from 19.11 and 77cm long the month before). Eilidh was 13.2 and 64cm long .
It was my wedding anniversary on Monday, a whole 2 years married
It really seems like nothing when compared to alot of couples, my parents have been married 26 years in April and I’m sure that is nothing for some people. DH and i had a lovely evening - just the fact that we spent it together was enough for me. We had a meal (Domino’s Pizza - but saved him cooking and other take aways are out as Eilidh reacts to alot of things) , and watched a movie (The Break Up) . The sweetest thing was he arranged candles all around the room and we eat and sat in candle light all night, he really is a romantic guy at heart.

Walking
Finally Rebecca is walking only took 20 months.
She is not quite 100% yet but is getting more confident every hour. The difference between yesterday and today is amazing.
I am on cloud 9 right now as i was beginning to feel this would never happen, i have so many plans for the summer now and cannot wait to take her out once she is walking 100%.
I have learned so much from this experience, i have a cousin who never walked till 18 months and i really thought there was something wrong with her or her parents. Every time I read about a child older than around 14 months not walking i really felt the parents were to blame. I now know that’s not true, Rebecca has never been an average child and why should she walk in the average range.
I’m a happy proud mammy today.
